Every spring, thousands of puffins come to Runde to nest after spending the winter out at sea. Runde Environmental Centre is currently installing cameras in the puffin colony "Lundeura" at the bird cliffs on Runde. More livestreams will follow

Kvar vår kjem tusenvis av lundefuglar til Runde for å hekke etter å ha overvintra ute på ope hav. Runde Miljøsenter monterer no kamera i lundekolonien «Lundeura» ved fuglefjella på Runde. Direkte sending frå fleir kamera kjem fortløpande. Her kan du følgje aktiviteten i lundekolonien i sanntid gjennom heile hekkesesongen.

About these cams and nests:

Top left (cam 1) - In 2024 know as Mr. and Mrs. Puffin (5P, female, ringed in 2020). The male is not ringed.

Top right (cam 2) - We know almost nothing about this pair. A chick was raised in this nest last year

Bottom left (cam 3) - Camera placed outside the nest equipped with cam 1. This is so that we can see who is feeding the chick in the nest of cam 1. Not always possible witht the camera inside.

Bottom right (cam 4) - V9 (ringed in 2024) and puffin with no ring. Who is male and who is female in unknown.
